May 10, 2014 – Hometown Hero To Be Remembered at 3rd Annual Foundation Social

Cherry Hill, NJ. (January, 2014) — The Billy Walker Jr. Foundation, a non-profit of Cherry Hill, N.J., seeks support and donations at their third commemorative event. The foundation was created by family and friends of 21-year-old Billy Walker Jr., first responder and EMT, who passed away on May 30, 2011. The mission of the organization is to support men and women who hope to become first responders through donations that will go toward enrollment fees, tuition and training supplies.

The social will take place on May 10, 2014, from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Lenola Fireman’s Memorial Hall located at 229 N. Lenola Rd. Moorestown N.J. 08057. The organization hosts the event annually to raise funds to support aspiring first responders and celebrate the memory of Billy Jr.

Food and refreshments will be served, and supporters can expect a fun night of music and dancing.

The Billy Walker Jr. foundation is a non-profit organization that was started in memory of Billy Walker, Jr., a loving and generous 21-year-old who passed away on May 30, 2011. The family and friends of Billy Jr. created this foundation to continue Billy’s legacy of helping others. The foundation strives to enable others with similar dreams as Billy Jr. to receive the support and dedication needed to fulfill these goals. The overall objective of this organization is to have aspiring first responders fulfill their dreams to serve their community.
